Outdoor concrete coatings

Patios & Pool Decks

Slip-resistant, UV-stable patio and pool deck coatings that stand up to Florida sun, afternoon storms, and salt air.

Outdoor coatings made for Florida weather

Pool decks and patios take the worst of it — standing water, chlorine, sunscreen, and constant UV. We grind the slab, repair spalling and cracks, then install a textured flake or knockdown system finished with a UV-stable polyaspartic floor coating so the color stays true and the surface stays comfortable underfoot.

  • Diamond-grind prep with crack and spall repair
  • Textured, slip-resistant finish options
  • UV-stable polyaspartic floor coating topcoat
  • Resists chlorine, salt air, and pool chemicals
  • Cooler underfoot than bare or dark concrete
  • Seamless surface that will not trap dirt or mildew

How a pool deck coating goes in

1. On-site quote

We measure the deck, check drainage and moisture, and review texture levels so the finish is grippy but still easy on bare feet.

2. Prep & repair

Diamond grinding opens the slab, and we patch cracks, spalled edges, and old coating failures before anything new goes down.

3. Base & texture

A bonding base coat is applied, then flake or a knockdown texture is worked in to create the slip-resistant profile.

4. Polyaspartic topcoat

A UV-stable polyaspartic floor coating seals everything in so the deck resists yellowing, chlorine, and salt air.

Patio & pool deck questions

Is a pool deck coating slippery when wet?

No. We build texture into the system with flake or a knockdown finish, so the surface stays grippy with wet feet while still being comfortable to walk on.

Will the color fade in the Florida sun?

The polyaspartic floor coating we use as the wear layer is UV stable, so it will not amber or yellow the way standard epoxy does when it is left exposed outdoors.

Does the surface get hot?

Lighter colors and textured finishes stay noticeably cooler than dark or bare concrete. We will help you pick a color that works for a barefoot pool deck.

Can you coat over an old, flaking pool deck?

Usually yes. We grind off failing material, repair the damaged concrete underneath, and then install the new system on a sound surface.

How long before we can use the pool again?

Most patio and pool deck jobs take two days. Foot traffic is typically fine after about 8 hours. We install across Brevard County and surrounding areas.
