Palm Bay

Palm Bay is the largest city by area in Brevard, and it's where we see the widest spread of slab ages in one market. Established neighborhoods like Port Malabar and Lockmar have decades-old slabs, while Bayside Lakes and the Malabar Rd corridor keep adding new construction.

New-construction Palm Bay slabs are the most common coating request, and they come with a specific issue: builder-applied sealer that's already flaking, and concrete that hasn't fully released construction moisture. We test for moisture before coating — a slab that's still off-gassing will push a coating off in the first hot summer. If it's too green, we wait; if it's ready, we grind off the builder sealer and start clean.

Older Palm Bay homes — Port Malabar, Lockmar, and the Palm Bay Rd corridor — often have slabs with settlement cracks, prior garage paint, and spalling at the apron from years of sun and rain. Those jobs need crack repair and surface rebuilding before any coating goes down, and we do that as part of the prep, not as a separate charge.

Palm Bay's sandy soil and flat lots also mean a lot of patios, lanais, and entry pads that sit at grade and take runoff. We finish those with a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat and a textured broadcast so they drain, rinse clean, and aren't slick after a Florida afternoon storm.
